Kashi Cereals and Snacks




These are my favorites. I love these cereals. The cookies are good and good for you and not made with enriched flour, but a blend of things like wheat, oats, rye, barley, long grain brown rice, buckwheat and sesame seeds. They are sweetened with evaporated cane juice instead of sugar. I like these oatmeal dark chocolate chip ones the best. The cereals have 50g of whole grains, are low in fat, a good source of fiber...are filling and yummy. This company also produces a variety of "chewy" and "crunch" and "roll" bars that are a great on the go snack and are a good source of protein and are lower in sugar and carbs that most on-the-go bars. UPDATE: Don't eat these. I am learning that these are just big ole bowls of carbs. Stick with the Kashi Go Lean cereals and avoid the shredded wheat as it is not high enough in fiber and not your friend.
